Downtown Bar Harbor Walking Tour

Our most popular tour, this 1.5 hour walk around town will showcase the highlights of history and current culture that makes Bar Harbor one of the top sightseeing destinations in the country. This tour will focus on the history of Bar Harbor from its first Wabanaki inhabitants to the Gilded Age summer colony to the families who've lived in the area since the American Revolution. We will see both beautiful 19th century architecture and explore the Shore Path to scope out the day's fisherman and hopefully catch a glimpse of Egg Rock Light!

Lobster Roll Crawl

Taste Test 3 of the best lobster rolls in downtown Bar Harbor while you learn from a local guide how the lobster became Maine’s most important industry and a symbol of status for the wealthy visitors. Each stop will showcase a different spin on the classic summertime staple. Please note this tour is not suitable for anyone with shellfish allergies. End the tour in Grant Park where you can watch fishermen at work most summer days. The restaurants may change depending on availability and ongoing customer reviews. Only tried and tested spots will be included.

Historic Eastport Tour

Join this tour of downtown Eastport and learn about what makes this coastal village unique and how it's been important throughout history. The tour will meet and end near the cruise ship terminal making it perfect for those coming to port. We will stop for great views of the waterfront and your local guide will teach you about the way of life in Downeast Maine. This one-hour tour is a great opportunity to learn a little bit about the area and get recommendations from your guide about how to spend the rest of your time!
